Say the word “assessment” to any colleague working in education and it conjures up a multitude of nuanced meanings or activities: formative tasks, summative tests, external standardised assessments, teacher observation and judgements, a tool to measure learning or a tool to create learning - it’s a complex picture. All these forms of assessment come with their own strengths and weaknesses. • Reliability
  • Value
